Stephanie Wallwork
Clinical Haematologist
Dr Stephanie Wallwork is a dual-trained clinical and laboratory Haematologist. She graduated with honours from the University of Queensland and completed her physician and specialist haematology training at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre and St Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne. In 2021, she was awarded the Eva Raik Memorial Prize for achieving the highest result in the RCPA haematology examinations.
Originally from Toowoomba, Dr Wallwork has returned to provide high-quality care to rural and regional patients. She has expertise in managing a wide range of haematological malignancies, including lymphoma, leukaemia, multiple myeloma, myeloproliferative diseases, and myelodysplastic syndromes. She also treats bleeding and clotting disorders and investigates undifferentiated blood count abnormalities.
Dr Wallwork is a fellow of both the Royal Australasian College of Physicians and the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia. She is also a member of the Australasian Leukaemia & Lymphoma Group (ALLG) and the Haematology Society of Australia and New Zealand (HSANZ). She consults at Toowoomba Haematology, St Andrew’s Toowoomba Hospital.
