Santosh Kumar

Dr Santosh Kumar is a Radiation Oncologist at Icon Cancer Centre Toowoomba. He completed his MBBS at the University of Queensland in 2013 and became a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (FRANZCR) in 2024 after completing a clinical fellowship in Head and Neck Oncology at Princess Alexandra Hospital.

Prior to radiation oncology, Dr Kumar obtained a Bachelor of Biomedical Sciences (B.Sc.) from Monash University, majoring in cancer biology and immunology. He also undertook two years of physician training with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians, gaining experience in Medical Oncology and Palliative Care.

Dr Kumar has broad clinical experience in managing solid tumour malignancies, with a special focus on head and neck cancer, skin cancer, lung cancer and palliative care. He is also an Associate Lecturer at The University of Queensland Medical School.
