Dr Dr Yong (Gary) Wang

Dr Gary Wang is a Specialist Urologist with extensive training in advanced urological and minimally invasive surgical techniques. He completed his medical degree with First Class Honours at The University of Queensland in 2008, demonstrating academic excellence early in his career. Dr Wang furthered his postgraduate education with a Master of Medicine from The University of Queensland in 2013, followed by a Master of Urology from The University of Sydney in 2017, strengthening his expertise in the diagnosis and management of complex urological conditions. During his early medical career, Dr Wang worked across major hospitals in Brisbane and regional Queensland, including three years practicing in Toowoomba between 2015 and 2018. This experience provided a strong foundation in both metropolitan and regional healthcare delivery. He completed his specialist urology training in Adelaide and Brisbane between 2018 and 2022, gaining comprehensive experience in all areas of urological surgery. In February 2023, Dr Wang was awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of Surgeons (FRACS) in Urology, recognising him as a fully qualified specialist surgeon. Dr Wang has undertaken additional subspecialty fellowship training in Robotic and Laparoscopic Surgery at Nottingham University Hospital in the United Kingdom in 2025, focusing on advanced minimally invasive techniques used in the treatment of urological cancers and other complex conditions.
