Dr Vivien Tse

Dr Vivien Tse completed her undergraduate medical degree (MBBS) in the United Kingdom at Barts and the London School of Medicine and Dentistry (University of London) in 2004. She completed her general medical training in the UK, becoming a member of the Royal College of Physicians in the UK in 2007. She then completed five years of clinical oncology training in the UK during which she was awarded the Fellowship of the Royal College of Radiologist in 2012. She also completed a Master of Science in Oncology through the Institute of Cancer Research in London in 2013. She spent two years undertaking a clinical fellowship in gynaecological cancer brachytherapy at Cambridge University Hospital, whilst also conducting a number of research projects including spending a further 6 months gaining further brachytherapy experience with Professor Hoskin at Mount Vernon Cancer Centre in the UK. Dr Tse became a consultant in 2015 at Guys and St Thomas’ Hospital in London, UK, taking an active role in medical student teaching and mentorship of oncology trainees. She has been a consultant for Icon Cancer Centre Toowoomba since June 2018 and was awarded Fellowship to the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (FRANZCR) in 2019. She is on the executive board for Gynaecological Oncology Radiation Oncology Collaboration (GOROC) – a special interest group under the RANZCR faculty of Radiation Oncology promoting best-practice evidence-based care for gynaecological cancers in Australia and New Zealand. She is also an active member of the Australia New Zealand Gynaecological Oncology Group (ANZGOG). Dr Tse has a wide scope of practice with special interests in colorectal cancer, gynaecological cancer, genitourinary cancer (including prostate cancer, and bladder cancer), lung cancer and haematological malignancies (Lymphoma and Myeloma).
