Dr Tukten Rolfe

Haematologist

Dr Tukten Rolfe graduated from the University of Queensland in 2015. Dr Rolfe is a dual trained clinical and laboratory haematologist being a fellow of both the Royal Australasian College of Physicians and the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia. Dr Rolfe undertook his training at multiple hospitals across south east Queensland including Toowoomba Hospital, Greenslopes Hospital, Sunshine Coast Hospital, Gold Coast Hospital and Princess Alexandra Hospital. Dr Rolfe has a particular interest in myeloid malignancies, lymphoma, myeloma along with non-malignant disorders including thrombosis. His experience in haematology equips him well to service our community and provide essential medical care to his patients. Dr Rolfe has been awarded an academic title as senior lecturer with the University of Queensland reflecting his passion for ongoing education of medical students and junior doctors and he is excited to develop working relationships with local general practitioners. Dr Rolfe completed his medical schooling in Toowoomba and has practiced medicine in the Toowoomba region for over 4 years. Tuk was born and raised around the Lismore and is enjoying living in a regional setting similar to his roots. Through his regional/rural upbringing, Dr Rolfe is acutely aware of the needs of the community and the importance of providing holistic specialist care to the Toowoomba region.
