Dr Sridevi Govindarajulu
Nephrologist
Dr Sridevi Govindarajulu is a Consultant Nephrologist based at St Andrew’s Toowoomba Hospital. She is the Director of Renal Services at the Toowoomba Base Hospital. Dr Sridevi has 16 years’ experience in both public and private practice in Toowoomba. Dr Sridevi graduated with a MBBS degree from Bangalore University in India and obtained MRCO from the UK. She moved to Australia and completed her Genera Medicine training at Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital. Dr Sridevi obtained her FRACP from the Royal Australian College of Physicians having undergone Nephrology training at Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane, Gold Coast Hospital and Geelong Hospital. Dr Sridevi moved to Toowoomba in 2010 and works in both the public and private sectors in nephrology, on a wide range of complex renal issues. Dr Sridevi is passionate about all aspects of kidney diseases including the management of acute kidney injury, chronic kidney disease, diabetic kidney disease, hypertension, dialysis and transplantation. Dr Sridevi has an active role in training medical students and junior doctors and is a local FRACP examiner for the Royal Australasian College of Physicians. She has also published research in Australian and overseas medical journals.
