Dr Shreyansh Pattani

Dr Shreyansh Pattani is an Australian-trained General and Interventional Cardiologist with specialist fellowships in Complex Interventional Cardiology from both Australia and the United Kingdom. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) and the Cardiac Society of Australia and New Zealand (FCSANZ). Dr Pattani has extensive experience across a broad spectrum of interventional procedures, from diagnostic coronary angiography and right heart studies to advanced percutaneous coronary interventions. His expertise includes complex cases requiring rotational or orbital atherectomy, intravascular imaging (IVUS and OCT), and high-risk coronary interventions including Left main bifurcation and chronic total occlusion (CTO) PCI’s. Dr Pattani completed his Basic Physician Training at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital in Perth, followed by Advanced Training in Cardiology at Launceston General Hospital, Tasmania. He subsequently undertook an Interventional Cardiology Fellowship at John Hunter Hospital (Newcastle) and advanced his skills through Complex PCI and CTO Fellowships at internationally renowned centres — the Manchester Royal Infirmary and Leicester University Hospitals in the UK. Since completing his fellowships, Dr Pattani has worked as a Consultant Cardiologist at both Toowoomba Base Hospital and Launceston General Hospital. A passionate educator and mentor, Dr Pattani served as a Conjoint Associate Lecturer at the University of Tasmania, where he was involved in training medical students and cardiology trainees. With a career spanning Australia, the UK, and India, Dr Pattani combines technical expertise with a strong commitment to compassionate, patient-centred care. Dr Pattani consults and treats patients at St Andrew’s Toowoomba Hospital.
