Dr Shilpa Nadahalli

Dr Shilpa Nadahalli is a Geriatrician with experience in all disciplines of medicine. She has worked in New Zealand, Queensland, ACT and New South Wales before completing her geriatrics training at Westmead and Horsby hospitals in Sydney and is a fellow of RACP. Dr Nadahalli is a compassionate and caring person, who is happy to discuss concerns and accommodate urgent appointments, offering both inpatient and outpatient consultations. Dr Nadahalli believes in a collaborative approach working closely with her patients, their families, GPs and allied health to give the best possible outcome. Dr Nadahalli provides comprehensive geriatric services to acute medical inpatients at St Andrew’s Toowoomba Hospital. She is also a participant of the Geriatric On-Call roster at St. Vincent’s Private hospital. Dr Nadahalli is also available to provide regular consultations at various Residential Aged Care Facilities located within Toowoomba and surrounding areas. Dr Nadahalli is committed to a holistic, patient-centred approach that focuses on improving function, independence and quality of life. She works closely with multidisciplinary teams—including physiotherapists, occupational therapists, pharmacists, nurses and social workers—to deliver coordinated, evidence-based care tailored to each patient’s goals and circumstances. Dr Nadahalli has experience and provides expertise in all aspects of acute and non-acute geriatric medicine.
