Dr Ryan Schrale

Dr Ryan Schrale is an Australian-trained general and interventional cardiologist with extensive experience in the diagnosis and management of complex cardiovascular disease. He provides patient-centred care across the full spectrum of cardiology, with a strong focus on evidence-based treatment and advanced minimally invasive procedures. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians, the European Society of Cardiology, and the American College of Cardiology. Dr Schrale graduated from the University of Adelaide before completing specialist cardiology training and undertaking prestigious international fellowships at the John Radcliffe Hospital and Brigham and Women’s Hospital. He also served as a Clinical Fellow at Harvard Medical School and holds a Master’s degree in Evidence-Based Health Care from the University of Oxford. Dr Schrale’s clinical interests include coronary intervention, structural heart disease, transcatheter valve therapies, and the treatment of complex and calcified coronary lesions. He is an accredited TAVI implanter. Dr Schrale is committed to improving access to leading cardiac therapies and delivering high-quality outcomes for regional patients. Dr Schrale holds hospital appointments at St Vincent’s Hospital Toowoomba and St Andrew’s Hospital Toowoomba. He consults privately at St Vincent’s Private Hospital Toowoomba, where he contributes to contemporary cardiac services and collaborative multidisciplinary care.
