Dr Ronald Siu

Neurologist

Associate Professor Ronald Siu is an experienced neurologist based in Toowoomba, providing comprehensive neurological care to patients across the Darling Downs. He is committed to delivering evidence-based, patient-centred care and is actively engaged in clinical education and research, contributing to the training and development of future medical professionals. Dr Siu holds multiple postgraduate qualifications, including a Master of Public Health and a Master of Philosophy. His research has focused on familial spinocerebellar ataxia, and he has undertaken research experience at the National Institutes of Health in the United States. He has held academic appointments with several Australian universities and is currently an Associate Professor at Queensland University of Technology, and Griffith University Medical School. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians. Dr Siu provides outpatient consultations at Toowoomba Neurology and cares for inpatients at St Andrew’s Toowoomba Hospital. He previously worked as a Staff Specialist Neurologist and Clinical Director of Neurology Department at Toowoomba Hospital.
