Dr Robert Crooks
Physician (General)
Dr Robert Crooks is a Queensland-trained General Physician providing specialist medical care in Toowoomba. He completed his medical degree at the University of Queensland and undertook physician training through Royal Brisbane and Redcliffe Hospitals before completing further specialist training in Toowoomba. Dr Crooks brings a broad clinical expertise to regional practice and is committed to delivering high-quality, evidence-based care to adult patients with complex medical needs. He has a strong interest in regional general medicine and perioperative medicine, supporting patients before, during and after surgical procedures to optimise outcomes. In addition, Dr Crooks has clinical interests in cardiorespiratory medicine, infectious diseases, geriatrics and the management of acute and chronic medical conditions commonly encountered in hospital and outpatient settings. Dr Crooks is known for his patient-centred approach, thorough diagnostic assessment and collaborative management. He works closely with referring general practitioners, surgeons, allied health professionals and multidisciplinary teams to provide coordinated and holistic care for each patient. Dr Crooks consults with patients at MyProcedure Rooms, St Andrew’s Toowoomba Hospital, providing specialist outpatient and inpatient physician services.
