Dr Neha Nandal

Dr Neha Nandal is a Senior Staff Specialist Neurologist at Toowoomba Hospital, where she provides comprehensive care across a wide range of neurological conditions. She is dedicated to delivering high-quality neurology services and is strongly committed to personalised, patient-centred care. Dr Nandal values clear, compassionate communication and believes that empathetic doctor–patient relationships are central to achieving the best possible outcomes. Her clinical interests extend beyond general neurology to include stroke, multiple sclerosis, headache disorders and movement disorders. With more than eight years of post-training experience in neurology, she brings both depth and breadth of expertise to her practice. Dr Nandal completed her neurology training at All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), a leading medical institution, where she was actively involved in research focused on stroke and epilepsy. After relocating to Australia, she undertook further subspecialty training as a Stroke Fellow in the Australian Capital Territory and as a Multiple Sclerosis Fellow in Newcastle, gaining valuable experience in these complex fields. She later moved to Queensland and continues to practise as a neurologist. Alongside her clinical work, Dr Nandal is engaged in research and medical education as a Senior Lecturer with The University of Queensland, contributing to the training of future doctors.
