Dr Luke Watson

Dr Luke Watson is an Australian-trained specialist Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and a member of the Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons. His clinical practice focuses on surgical oncology, with sub-specialty expertise in skin cancer and melanoma, and microsurgery. He delivers precise, patient-centred care and innovative surgical solutions that aim to help individuals regain confidence and quality of life. Beyond surgery, he is committed to medical education and mentorship. As a Lecturer at the UQ Faculty of Medicine, he plays an active role in training the next generation of doctors, supervising medical students, resident medical officers, and specialist registrars. Dr Watson is also actively involved in research, having published work across multiple areas of plastic and reconstructive surgery.
