Dr Lanziz Homar

Dr Lanziz Homar is an Australian-trained specialist in obstetrics, gynaecology, and fertility care. With over 20 years of medical experience and more than five years as a fertility specialist, he is known for providing personalised, respectful, and gentle holistic care across Toowoomba and its surrounding regions. He began his specialist training at The Canberra Hospital, completing rotations at Calvary and Launceston General Hospitals before moving to the Gold Coast for two years of advanced training in complex laparoscopy and specialized surgery. Having earned a Master of Reproductive Medicine from UNSW in 2017, Dr Homar is especially passionate about assisting women with conception difficulties. He adopts a holistic approach to fertility, encouraging positive lifestyle changes to enhance reproductive health. Dr Homar works collaboratively with patients to devise tailored treatment plans, ensuring they are fully informed of the risks, benefits, and expected outcomes of every decision. Dr Homar consults and performs minor procedures from his rooms in East Toowoomba and the Toowoomba Surgicentre, with monthly consultations at Goondiwindi Medical Centre. He delivers babies at St Vincent’s Hospital and performs major surgeries at St Andrew’s Toowoomba Hospital. Dedicated to global health, Dr Homar travels annually to his home country of Madagascar to provide free consultations, surgery, and staff training with Australian Doctors for Africa.
