Dr Kenneth Ng

Dr Kenneth Ng is a Geriatrician with broad expertise in the assessment and management of complex geriatric syndromes. Originally from Seremban, a regional town in Malaysia, Dr Ng completed a dual degree in Medicine and Surgery at the University of Leeds in the United Kingdom, graduating in 2006. He began his medical career in the UK, working as a junior doctor before relocating to Australia to be closer to family. On arrival, he worked in Far North Queensland and undertook his basic physician training in Townsville. He later continued his advanced training in Geriatric Medicine across the Sunshine Coast and Toowoomba. In 2019, Dr Ng was admitted as a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians, specialising in Adult Medicine. His academic interests have included literature reviews focusing on pharmacological management of orthostatic hypotension and Creutzfeldt–Jakob disease. Dr Ng is dedicated to delivering comprehensive, holistic, and evidence-based care to older adults in Toowoomba and surrounding communities. His clinical approach is centred on optimising health outcomes and enhancing quality of life for patients with complex geriatric needs. Dr Ng has a particular interest in the management of acute geriatric inpatients, Parkinson’s disease and movement disorders. He also has extensive experience in managing common geriatric syndromes, with specific expertise in polypharmacy, falls prevention, and the assessment and treatment of cognitive impairment in older adults.
