Dr Julian Pavey

Dr Julian Pavey is an Australian-trained Endocrinologist and Obstetric Physician experienced in diagnosing and managing a broad range of hormone disorders and complex medical conditions in pregnancy. He graduated from the University of Queensland in 2014 with Dean’s Commendations for academic excellence and completed specialist training across leading tertiary hospitals including the Royal Brisbane & Women’s Hospital, Mater Hospital, Townsville Hospital, and Toowoomba Hospital. He was awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in 2022 and subsequently undertook post-fellowship training in Obstetric Medicine. Dr Pavey returned to Toowoomba in 2023 to provide specialist care to the Darling Downs community. He is recognised for his holistic, patient-centred approach and works closely with general practitioners and multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care tailored to each patient’s needs. In addition to his clinical practice, he holds an academic appointment with the University of Queensland and is actively involved in medical education and ongoing professional development. Dr Pavey consults at Toowoomba Endocrine & Diabetes within the Toowoomba Specialist Centre. He admits patients at St Andrew’s Toowoomba Hospital.
