Dr Jae Park

Dr Jae Park is a Fellowship-trained Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) and Head & Neck surgeon dedicated to delivering high-quality, patient-centred surgical care. Based in Toowoomba, he provides comprehensive ENT services with a particular focus on complex head and neck conditions, cancer management, and reconstructive surgery. Dr Park completed his dental degree in New Zealand before working as a general dentist in Queensland, where his interest in head and neck oncology developed. He subsequently earned his medical degree in Western Australia and undertook formal ENT surgical training across Adelaide and Brisbane after gaining early experience in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery on the Gold Coast. He later completed an advanced Head and Neck Cancer and Reconstructive Surgery fellowship in Michigan at the Karmanos Cancer Institute, a National Cancer Institute–designated centre and one of the highest-volume head and neck surgical units in the region. This training provided extensive exposure to complex ablative, thyroid, parathyroid, reconstructive, and trans-oral robotic procedures. Dr Park is a member of local multidisciplinary head and neck cancer and thyroid teams and is actively involved in teaching registrars, residents, and interns. He consults at Darling Downs ENT Clinic and holds hospital appointments at St Vincent’s Hospital Toowoomba and St Andrew’s Toowoomba Hospital.
