Dr Ingrid Bonapart

Dr Ingrid Bonapart is a Fellowship-trained Endocrinologist and General Medicine Physician with extensive international experience in the diagnosis and management of complex hormonal and metabolic conditions. Originally from the Netherlands, she brings a strong academic and clinical background to her practice and is committed to delivering evidence-based, patient-centred care. Dr Bonapart obtained her primary medical qualification from Erasmus University Rotterdam in 1992 and completed specialist training in General Medicine in 2000, followed by Endocrinology in 2003 through the Erasmus University Medical Centre. Prior to relocating to Australia in 2017, she practised for many years in a clinical teaching hospital and a tertiary referral centre, supporting advanced endocrinology training programs. Since moving to Toowoomba, Dr Bonapart has worked across inpatient wards, outpatient clinics, and emergency care, while also contributing to the education of medical students and junior doctors. She became a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in 2018. Dr Bonapart consults from Toowoomba Neurology and is a specialist at St Andrew’s Toowoomba Hospital.
