Dr Gonesh Karmakar

Dr Gonesh Karmakar is a highly experienced Respiratory, Sleep & General Physician consulting in Toowoomba. He graduated from Dhaka Medical College, Bangladesh in 1990 and completed extensive clinical training including residency in New Zealand. Dr Karmakar gained Fellowship in Internal Medicine in 2008 and Fellowship in Respiratory and Sleep Medicine in 2009 through the Royal Australasian College of Physicians, reflecting advanced expertise in respiratory and sleep disorders. Dr Karmakar provides patient-centred care with a strong focus on comprehensive assessment, diagnosis and management of lung and sleep conditions. He also holds an honorary appointment as a Senior Lecturer with the Rural Medical School, Toowoomba and the University of Queensland, supporting medical education in the region.
