Dr Daniel Anderson

Dr Daniel Anderson is an Otolaryngologist and Head and Neck Surgeon with expertise in the diagnosis and management of conditions affecting the ear, nose, throat and head and neck region. His practice includes the treatment of a wide range of ENT conditions, including disorders of the parotid gland, thyroid disease and skin cancer surgery. Dr Anderson graduated from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery in 2007. He initially undertook several years of training in General Surgery before progressing to advanced specialist training in Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery. Throughout his training, Dr Anderson gained valuable experience at several of Queensland’s leading head and neck centres, working alongside highly regarded surgeons and developing expertise in both routine and complex ENT procedures. Following completion of his specialist training, he worked as a consultant at Queensland Children’s Hospital and Gold Coast University Hospital, as well as in private practice on the Gold Coast. In 2023, Dr Anderson relocated to Toowoomba to be closer to family and to contribute to improving access to specialist ENT services for patients across the Darling Downs region. Dr Anderson is actively involved in medical education and registrar training, and is committed to supporting the development of future surgeons and healthcare professionals. He values collaborative care and works closely with general practitioners, dentists and allied health professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for his patients.
