Gastroenterologist

Dr Craig Halliday is an experienced specialist Gastroenterologist and the Director of the Queensland Centre for Digestive Medicine in Toowoomba, where he has practised for many years. He graduated with honours in medicine from the University of Queensland and went on to complete specialist training in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology at the Royal Brisbane Hospital and St Bartholomew’s Hospital in London, reflecting both domestic and international clinical grounding. Dr Halliday has been providing expert care for digestive health conditions for nearly three decades and is widely recognised for his depth of clinical experience and approachable, patient-centred care. His practice emphasises the prevention, diagnosis and management of gastrointestinal and liver conditions, with an integrated approach to patient wellbeing and collaborative treatment planning. Dr Halliday works closely with general practitioners and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver coordinated gastrointestinal care to patients in Toowoomba and the surrounding Darling Downs region. Dr Halliday consults from the Queensland Centre for Digestive Medicine at St Andrew’s Toowoomba Hospital.
