Dr Ciara Dodds
Breast Clinician
Dr Ciara Dodds is a dedicated Breast Clinician with a special interest in the comprehensive assessment and management of breast conditions. She provides expert care in the evaluation of breast symptoms, diagnostic imaging coordination, risk assessment, and ongoing management of both benign and malignant breast disease. Dr Dodds completed her medical training at the University of Tasmania in 2014 where she grew up. Since then she has worked in hospitals and GP practices all over the country as her husband is in the Defence Force. She received her RACGP fellowship in 2019 and completed the Diploma of Child Health in 2017 through the University of Sydney. Dr Dodds works collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure patients receive timely, evidence-based care tailored to their individual needs. She is committed to delivering compassionate, patient-centred support, recognising the importance of clear communication and reassurance during what can often be an anxious time. Her clinical practice includes breast cancer surveillance, high-risk screening, family history assessment, and post-treatment follow-up care. Dr Dodds is passionate about early detection, preventative strategies, and empowering patients through education and shared decision-making. Dr Dodds is a clinician at the Diagnostic Breast Clinic at St Andrew’s Toowoomba Hospital.
