Dr Carl Kennedy

Dr Carl Kennedy is a specialist Clinical Immunologist and Allergist who consults with patients for a range of immunological and allergic conditions. He trained in Queensland, graduating in medicine from the University of Queensland in 2001, and completed advanced dual training in Clinical Immunology, Allergy and Immunopathology at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital and Princess Alexandra Hospital. Dr Kennedy provides expert assessment and management of immune system disorders, including allergic disease, chronic urticaria (hives), anaphylaxis, and allergic rhinitis. He has a broad clinical interest that also encompasses immunodeficiencies and connective tissue disorders — supporting patients with both common and complex immunological issues. With longstanding experience in specialist immunology, Dr Kennedy is involved in delivering evidence-based care that integrates diagnostic testing, immunotherapy and tailored management plans. He is known for his patient-centred approach and clear communication, helping patients and families understand and manage chronic immune conditions effectively. Dr Kennedy consults at the Compass Immunology Clinic in Toowoomba, at St Andrew’s Toowoomba Hospital, providing specialist immunology services within the hospital precinct.
