Ashleigh Heron

Dr. Ashleigh Heron is a General Medicine Physician at St Andrew’s Toowoomba Hospital. After completing her medical degree at Griffith University, Dr. Heron undertook her clinical training in various hospitals across southeast Queensland, including Toowoomba Hospital and several rural hospitals. She is passionate about managing chronic diseases, particularly cardiac, renal, and rheumatologic conditions, as well as palliative care and infectious disease management. Dr. Heron also holds a Graduate Diploma in Public Health and Tropical Medicine and is committed to medical education, mentoring, and clinical training. Her patient-centred approach is grounded in collaboration, education, and evidence-based practice.
